Alistair,
What a great picture it brings back memories of my own
favorite landscapes in Idaho. It is so clear and bright that
it makes you appreciate nature and your chance to sit back
and enjoy the beauty and be thankful to be alive.
I know where I will be going this spring until then I will
just sit back and admire this picture.

Hey Alistair, was reading your blog and noticed no canadian fans who have written to you
so thought why not let you know that you are an absolute favourite here. Love your shows,
its too bad you left cash in the atic, or have you? anyways, you are one of the most
articulated TV hosts i know, so keep up the good work.
Superb picture and a wonderful wish for the new year.
Where was the pic taken by the way?
I can’t wait until your next blog entry.
I look forward to your updates and thoughts.
Hey Alistair. Only just found you on “Cash in the Attic” and wanted to read more about youu. I am fascinated by your versatility and drive. Hope to see more of you in the states. Best wishes for a peace filled New Year. Regards, J.
Hello Alistair! I just want to say that I enjoy HOUSE DOCTOR immensely! You have a very soothing voice and you and Ann in the outtake episode are hilarious!
I’ve recently bought FOOTBALLERS WIVES on DVD and recognized your voice in the scene with Chardonnay (my roommate and I both thought “That’s odd…that voice sounds familiar…shouldn’t it be talking about decluttering and depersonalizing…oh my, it’s Alistair!” I was so happy that two of my favourite British have blended together! Canada doesn’t have any home renovation shows as enjoyable as HOUSE DOCTOR (nor is there anything as deliciously trashfabulous as FOOTBALLERS WIVES)
Take care and happy 2006 – keep up with the blog, it’s fascinating all your travels :)
I know this is completley off topic but have you ever
been to Massachusetts? Call me crazy it’s just that I
thought I saw you there. Well, that is quite a lovely
picture where was it taken? Have a Happy New Year!
woww.. broke mountain ali style..

Get a grip. You’re going over the edge. We all love
Alistair.
Good observation about the picture. It’s really awesome.
I’m the point and shoot kind of picture taker, sometimes
I even get a good picture.
Thanks for showing your pictures Alistair.
What a lovely message – and a gorgeous photo. It looks a lot like Northern Ontario in the fall, a place I go to quite often with friends for camping trips. Maybe you have been yourself (if you havent, I suggest checking it out sometime if you get the chance).
Look forward to reading aout your adventures this year.
It was lovely to meet you as well – I like your wit.
Best,
John
I am new to this area of technology – blogs and the like, please forgive me if I am incorrect.
I have been meaning to lead them for awhile…. absolutely wonderful pictures… do you take them all yourself?
Looking to see more of you in this new and wonderful year!

So long as our address is ‘earth’, not ‘heaven’, people will be vunerable to setbacks and calamities. But no matter what happens, we’ll still have good years so long as we are touched by the influence and care of quality friends and family.
I add to this having been fortunate to be touched by the influence and care of Alistair, even if only via multi-media, thoughts and prayers.
Alistair,
Just wanted to say thanks for putting your
experiences out there for all of us to enjoy.
As someone who grew up in the middle of the US,
it is so great to see what else is out there. Reading
your entries and looking at your photos makes me
realize it is time to stop fearing so much and explore
what life has to offer. Thanks for inspiring me and others
Have a great 06 and best wishes

How are you today =0) If you read these comments Alistair I just want to let you know how much you are touching me emotionally ( I know thats cheesy from a stranger but hey ) I truely enjoy reading about your experiences for they remind me of my own and then I feel connected to you. What I would give just to talk to you for an hour or just be able to ask you questions about life. Hope everything is well. Jeremy
Dear Alistair- I too have found you on Cash in the Attic and wanted
to tell you I enjoy the program as I feel you make it come
really alive. Finding you here is especially a pleasure to
get to know someone of your caliber. I don’t expect a reply but
do wish you the very best in your future because if anyone
does deserve it, you do. Thanks again for being there.

Great pic, we don’t get that kind of scenery here in New York.
Keep up with the blog, it’s great!

That’s what life is all about.”

Thank you, for what you’ve done for me,
loving things that have a way of finding me.
Again, such fabulous realities,
innocuous curiosity.
How fortunate to be on the planet at the same time as you.

Thanks for the kinds words. Still wishing you the best from Memphis TN. We love you always Alistair!
Alistair,
Isn’t the person in this photo the same person pictured with the turtle on the beach in Brazil?
My thoughts exactly Duane.
That picture with the turtle is great also.
